The original blame for the E Coli outbreak was on Spanish cucumbers but a mass destruction of cucumbers has not stopped the spread of the disease. Scientists have now confirmed that they do not believe the Spanish cucumbers to have been the cause of the outbreak, much to the relief of the Spanish agricultural community, although a lot of damage has already been done. 100 Severe Cases of E. Coli In Germany There are now 100 patients with E. Coli in Germany who are showing the most severe symptoms. 16 people have died from the disease so far, 1 of them in Sweden after visiting Germany. So far there are around 1600 reported cases of E. Coli, fortunately many people have milder symptoms. Many Germans are now avoiding locally grown vegetables according to the German newspaper die Welt. The Robert Koch Institute which is German federal institution responsible for disease control and prevention has also advised not to eat raw vegetables &#8211; everything should be cooked. People that drink 2 to 3 cups of coffee each day can reduce the risk of developing Parkinson&#8217;s by up to 25%. Parkinson&#8217;s disease is becoming a more widespread problem as people start to live longer. As cardiovascular health improves, the brain still suffers the effects of aging. Approximately 1 in 500 people will develop the condition, and although most sufferers are over the age of 40, 5% are are under 50 years of age. One of the most famous Parkinson&#8217;s sufferers is boxing legend Muhummad Ali. He was diagnosed in 1984 after people noticed that his speech was slower than normal in a press conference and suggested that he saw a doctor. There is still no treatment for Parkinson&#8217;s and the cause is also unknown. It is a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that results in tremors and slow movements.
