The knee itself was always hot to the touch. He went back several times and was finally told that he had tendinitis. He was given several options to cure, one of them being surgery. He wanted nothing to do with it. The pain had a serious impact to his personality, weight, and happiness.
20 plus years ago he had a root canal. The gum around that tooth would flare up, red and tender. He asked many dentists about it. Finally a new dentist this fall sent him to an oral surgeon who performed a cat scan. Sure enough one of the roots was still intact and infected. The root was removed, the gum area and infection healed and guess what - so did his knee. Our natural theory is that the gum infection was infecting his knee. The dentist agrees.
In less than 2 months he is walking, exercising, back to his normal weight, and very happy again. I am happy as I have my fun loving hubby back.

Three and a half years ago my husband had a knee replacement. It never quite healed.
